Why is a 'tour code' used?

Can tour participants pay by check?
Tour Participants cannot send individual checks to Fantastic Tours as payment. In order to utilize the MyTour Online Registration System, an online account must be created and a credit card used for payment(s). Back to the top.

Are online payments safe?

Why is the registration period so short?
The registration period is designed to be short so that the tour organizers and your tour specialist get an accurate count of tour participants early in the tour planning. By doing this, it benefits the tour experience by helping to ensure all requested reservations are able to be made, and that the group is always together. A registration period that is too long can result in the group having to be split up to experience all requested attractions. Back to the top.

Why is the registration payment non-refundable?
The registration payment is calculated based on the non-refundable ticket and attractions required by individual attractions on the tour. For example group rate airline tickets, theater tickets and dinner dance cruise reservations are non-refundable once purchased or reserved. After the registration period, Fantastic Tours sends out non-refundable deposits to all attractions to secure the reservations for the tour. There is however the Tour Protection Program available to all tour participants when signing up for any tour. The Tour Protection Program is designed to protect the tour participant's payments in the event of unforeseen cancellation. Back to the top.

Can the tour be paid for in installments?
Yes, to assist payment planning, the tour can be paid for in one, two, or three installments. This is decided upon by the tour organizer and is then set for the whole group. Back to the top.

Can I pay for all installments at once?
Yes. If you would prefer not to have to log back in to make payments, you can pay for the any and all installments at the time of registration. Simply add multiple installment payments to your cart and proceed to Google Checkout. Back to the top.

Why does the MyTour service cost more?
Fantastic Tours does not charge anything extra to use our MyTour Online Registration System. There is a fee, however imposed by the online payment processor / gateway. We must pass this fee along to the tour participant. Back to the top.

Why don't other companies charge more for online registration?
There is a fee for all online payment processing. Other tour companies choose to include this in the overall cost, making the fee more 'invisible'. Being extremely budget-conscious, Fantastic Tours chooses to offer the system as an option, so that each group may decide what is best for their tour participants and their budgets.
